The quiet village of “Al-Sujar” in the arms of the Jabal Akhdar rises from the northern side about 1,900 meters above sea level and is characterized by
its moderate weather in summer and winter, as it is isolated from the rest of the villages of Jabal Akhdar, which gives it a distinguished location in terms of tranquillity and recreation and it is a shrine to many tourists
throughout general.The village has been inhabited by the “Al-Sharqi” tribe for more than 350 years and its current population is about 60 and is on the rise. It is famous for its abundance of plants and fruits, the most Famous of which are
walnuts, almonds and pomegranates along the path of its valley and the
scent of roses. The age of its houses extends to nearly 400 years and the
distinctive location of the village is the center of a contract for many of the
villages surrounding Jabal Akhdar
